VAK Learning Styles Quiz
The VAK learning styles quiz advocates that people can be divided into one of the three preferred styles of learning: visual, audio or kinaesthetic. The dominant style will define the best way in which you learn new information or master a new task most effectively. The three learning styles are as follows:
- Visual learning style: If you are a visual learner, you will best learn through charts diagrams, illustrations, handouts and videos. You will be able to perform a new task better after either reading the instructions first or by watching someone else do it.
- Auditory learning style: If you are an audio learner, you will best be able to perform a task after listening to the instructions from an expert. You can also remember things better after hearing about them.
- Kinaesthetic learning style: If you are a kinaesthetic learner, you would tend to have a preference through touching and doing. You will tend to take a more “hands-on” approach and learn as you go on with the task, sometimes experimenting as well.
You may have a main preferred learning style however, it may also be part of a mixture of all three. Some people may tend to have a very strong preference while others may have a more even blend of two. After you know what your preferred learning style is, you will understand what type of learning will best suit you. This will enable you to choose the types of learning that works best for you.
So, what is your preferred style of learning? Take the VAK learning styles quiz and find out! It is free and will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
Note that there is no right or wrong learning style. However, there are types of learning that better suit your own preferred learning style.
